Saitama City and Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, announced that one person who was confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus died, and a total of five people were newly infected.
According to Kawaguchi City, a man in his 70s who had been hospitalized at a medical institution died, and 38 people died after being confirmed to have been infected in Saitama prefecture.
Newly confirmed infections were women in their 90s and women in their 20s living in Kawaguchi City, as well as women in their 50s, office workers in their 40s, and men in their 40s all living in Saitama City. There are 5 people in total.
The number of infected people announced in Saitama Prefecture has now reached 891.
