China News Service, May 3, according to the website of the Guangdong Provincial Health and Welfare Committee, there were no new confirmed cases in Guangdong Province from 0 to 24 May. As of 24:00 on May 2, Guangdong Province has reported a total of 1588 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, including 193 cases imported overseas. A total of 1567 patients were discharged from the hospital and 8 patients died.
There were no new discharge cases. Of the 13 cases in the hospital (including 4 imported cases), 1 case was mild, 9 cases were normal, 1 case was heavy, and 2 cases were critical.
One new case of asymptomatic infections was reported in Guangzhou. The association was imported overseas and found through close inspection.
