Recently, snowflakes have floated in the Baihe Chinese Merganser Nature Reserve under the Changbai Mountain in Jilin Province. They sometimes dig into the water to fish, sometimes chase and fight, and sometimes rest on the stone. According to the Baihe Forest Public Security Bureau, as the weather gets warmer, the Chinese Merganser will start laying eggs and hatching eggs.

The Chinese Merganser is a rare bird of China's specialty. It is a national first-level key protected animal and has a history of more than 10 million years. (Reporter Guo Jia correspondent Li Junjun editor Zhou Jing)
