While a new pathology was discovered in Île-de-France on children contaminated with Covid-19, Doctor Fabienne Kochert, pediatrician and president of the Association for Professional Training in Pediatrics (AFPA), wanted to be reassuring Saturday on Europe 1. According to her, this condition remains rare, known to doctors and causes very few serious cases.

For several days, France, England, and other countries, note an increase in the number of children with symptoms close to Kawasaki disease, a vascular syndrome affecting children. If several specialists affirmed on Europe 1 that no link was for the moment established with Covid-19, Fabienne Kochert, pediatrician and president of the Association of professional training in pediatrics (AFPA) made a point of reassuring the parents, Sunday at the microphone of Wendy Bouchard. 

According to her, "this alert concerning this auto-inflammatory pathology" relates to a "disease that we know" and it is a "rare affection".
