As of 17:00 when the park was closed, the scenic area received a total of 1,595 tourists on the day, about 3% of the same period last year.
On the day of May 1st, at the entrance and exit of the Yellow Crane Tower scenic spot in Wuhan, tourists wear masks in groups of three to five, holding a health code "green code", after measuring their body temperature, they enter the park for sightseeing. As in previous years, a waiting area was set up outside the lobby on the first floor of the Yellow Crane Tower. Due to the scarcity of tourists, there is no lively scene of long lines of tourists waiting to board the building in previous years.
In front of the Yellow Crane Tower, most tourists wear masks and take photos. For others, take off the mask temporarily before taking a photo, and then put on the photo after taking the photo. "The first time I came to see the Yellow Crane Tower, I wanted to leave a smile and some good memories," one of the tourists said.
On January 23 this year, in order to cooperate with the prevention and control of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic, the Yellow Crane Tower was temporarily closed to the outside world. On April 29, the Yellow Crane Tower was reopened, and only the non-enclosed area and semi-enclosed area were opened, while the fully enclosed area was temporarily closed.
According to relevant regulations, the instantaneous reception of the main building of the Yellow Crane Tower will not exceed 300 person-times, the instantaneous reception of the park will not exceed 3000 person-times, and the daily reception of the Yellow Crane Tower scenic spot will not exceed 5400 person-times.
On the first day of the May Day holiday last year, the Yellow Crane Tower received more than 48,000 tourists on a daily basis.
