Beijing domestic waste is divided into four categories: kitchen waste, recyclables, hazardous waste, and other waste. At present, every type of household waste generated by residents requires collection and transportation by special transportation vehicles. According to the new regulations, catering units that have reached a certain scale and are equipped with on-site treatment conditions should build up on-site food waste treatment facilities that meet the standards, and carry out on-site treatment and resource utilization of food waste.
