The operation amounts to 5 million euros. It involves "offering 10,000 holiday checkbooks of 500 euros to employees in the region's private sector, whose family quotient does not exceed 700 euros and who worked in direct contact with the public during the confinement period," announced the regional Council.
The checks will be "usable in the Grand-Est, for accommodation, catering and tourist leisure services" and "may be used from the date of reopening of tourist establishments", it is specified.
