Governor Ono of Saitama Prefecture announced that all pachinko parlors in the prefecture, which had been operating without requesting the suspension of business, will be closed after one day.

Saitama Prefecture repeatedly requested cooperation from pachinko parlors, which had been operating without requesting a holiday, and said that if they continued to operate, the store name would be announced based on the Act on Special Measures against New Coronavirus.

According to the prefecture, out of 466 stores in the prefecture, 32 stores were open on the 30th, but after confirming that all stores will be closed after the first day, the store name will not be announced.

Governor Ohno says, "Originally, the purpose is not to make it public, but to eliminate the three secrets and to prevent it from becoming a source of infection, I would like to thank you again for your cooperation in requesting leave."
