While the coronavirus epidemic continues to rage around the world, the host Stéphane Bern assured Thursday on Europe 1 that he felt "decided to change his life". If he should continue to present his shows, he will aim to "give them more depth" and make them "even closer to the people".

The confinement thus pushed Stéphane Bern to reflect on his lifestyle and his career. "I have decided to change my life. I no longer want to run after anything. I rather want to be interested in people. I want to redirect my life towards things that make more sense, "he explains. More concretely, he claims to be committed to others. "I participated as best I could in charitable and social actions", illustrates Stéphane Bern.

It would not be a question of "doing less but doing better", according to him, in order to "be even closer to people and their concerns".

If these developments are explained by confinement, the virus itself is also responsible. "I tell you sincerely, I have seen too many people fall ill. Some of my friends are dead and I really have a big heart," laments Stéphane Bern.
