In the European part of Russia there has been a warming. Heated air to the south of the Central District will bring a cyclone from Ukraine, according to the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

“On April 30, the influence of the new cyclone from the southwest will begin to affect the Central District, and warming in its southern half will continue, in the afternoon, to + 24 ° C,” the forecast says.

On the contrary, rains will come to the north of the district, since it will be in the rear of the cyclone. Partly precipitation can turn into wet snow, thunderstorms are possible.

As for Moscow and the region, the weather will be unstable, told Anatoly Tsygankov, deputy chief of the Roshydromet situation center.

“In Moscow, the geographical position is so tricky; we are on the shift of climatic masses. On the one hand - the Barents Sea, the Arctic, cold, on the other hand - the heat that comes from the Mediterranean Sea, and we, Moscow, are just at the junction, so we are very unstable, as soon as the front sways to the north, we get into it’s warm, a little south - cold, ”said the weather forecaster.

According to Tatyana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Moscow Meteoburo, from May 1, the capital region will be located on the periphery of the anticyclone. On the night of Friday, it may rain in the south of the region, but by the day of precipitation it is not expected, but still cloudy. On a holiday, the air in the city warms up to + 11 ... + 13 ° С, at night it will also be quite warm, about + 3 ... + 5 ° С.

“May 2 + 12 ... + 14 ° C, but in the afternoon a warm atmospheric front will come up to us, light rain will begin, followed by active advection of warm air,” Pozdnyakova said in an interview with RT.

Sunday, May 3, will be even warmer. At night, the thermometer columns will not fall below + 5 ... + 10 ° C, and during the day, according to the forecast of Roshydromet, + 20 ... + 25 ° C is expected. Thunderstorms and gusty wind are possible.

Due to the better weather on holidays, residents of the capital are likely to go to their summer cottages, Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov noted in the 60-minute program on Rossiya-1 TV channel. According to him, an additional influx of 3-3.5 million people is expected.

At the same time, the governor urged residents of the metropolitan region not to forget about the rules of self-isolation during the May holidays. According to him, patrols will be strengthened, violators awaiting administrative responsibility.

“The weather, as we know, will be good, so you need to keep your eyes open in the sense that there should be control. If you are talking about barbecue, then we should not allow this, the patrol brigades will be strengthened ... I would like to ask each of us not to relax again, ”Vorobyov said.

In other areas, security measures will also be strengthened. The governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, explained that only residents who have proof of rights to the corresponding property will be able to drive to the cottage in his region.

"A sharp jump"

At the beginning of next week, the trend for warming will continue. According to the Moscow Meteuro Bureau, on May 4 and 5, daytime indicators in the city will be around + 20 ... + 22 ° C, the possibility of thunderstorms will continue.

“The air temperature at the end of the first five days of the month will be relevant already in late May, the last ten days of May. We can say that the weather is preparing for a sharp jump from April to the end of May, ”said Pozdnyakova.

Roshydromet, for its part, notes that it is still difficult to predict how long high temperatures will stay in Moscow, but you can count on heat for at least five days.

“The inflow was constantly from the north, from the Arctic, and all of April we practically turned out to be cold, below normal. Now, again, it will swing from Greece with us, we will feel it for five or six days, ”said Tsygankov.

The Phobos Center has already made a preliminary forecast for May 9th. According to his experts, on Victory Day it is expected to be around + 15 ° C, at night around + 5 ... + 7 ° C. Leading employee of the center Mikhail Leus said that "on average the temperature will be near the climatic norm."

Recall, earlier it was decided that due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus on May 9, only the air part of the parade in honor of Victory Day will be held.

Further forecasts for May are quite optimistic. The head of the laboratory of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Lyudmila Parshina said that in the last month of spring the temperature in Moscow and the region will be above normal. On average during the day, the thermometer columns will rise to +18 ... + 23 ° C.
