[Commentary] On April 28, at the Huangfangping Shifang Art Center in Chongqing, the reporter saw Wu Hongling, who was sitting at the table with his head buried and facing the paper. Wu Hongling lived in a silent world after being deaf due to drugs at the age of two. When he was studying in a special education school, he fell in love with paper cutting and painting, and now he insists on creating while working. In Wu Hongling's creative room, filled with various oil paintings and paper cuts, it seems to be a small exhibition hall.

[Commentary] Wu Hongling said that he has combined paper-cutting, painting and reality through self-study online. Most of his works are what he sees and hears. There are common architectural themes as well as creative works aimed at hot current affairs. With more and more works, Wu Hongling has become more and more optimistic and cheerful, preferring to go outdoors to find inspiration.

Now the maximum size of his paper-cut works reaches 8 meters. As his works gained more and more recognition, he also explored more ways to express art, began three-dimensional paper-cut production, and tried to design small institutions to make the works move. Wu Hongling said that life is like paper cutting, from scratch, everything is artificial, as long as you work hard, everything is possible.
