These are ephemeral devices, linked to the coronavirus epidemic. While domestic violence has greatly increased with confinement, gendarmes trained to deal with these situations will run reception points in Haute-Garonne shopping centers.

The announcement was made this Wednesday by the prefect Etienne Guyot, who indicates in a press release that this initiative "must make it possible to limit the situations of undeclared violence".

After Leclerc d'Estancarbon this Wednesday morning, Saint-Orens and Carrefour de Portet-sur-Garonne will be affected this Thursday and May 7, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Permanences held by an association

These hotlines complement those already held by the association Femmes Victimes 31, in the Carrefour Labège (Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.), Purpan (Tuesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Tournefeuille (from Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
