If you are still dreaming of Punky Brewster, the wall decor of her room (which your parents have always refused you) and her mismatched shoes, that's good, because she is back. Soleil Moon Frye resumed his role, almost 35 years later. The orphan is now divorced and mother of three, but her best friend Cherie is still by her side (Cherie Johnson has also returned to service). And she hasn't given up her love of golden retrievers either, since a descendant of Brandon is also in the cast.

You can't talk about Punky Brewster without talking about his wardrobe and that's good, since his tastes haven't really changed. The costumes were taken care of by Mona May, known in particular for her work on Clueless , whose heroines' clothes continue to inspire the fashion world even today.

For the moment, only one episode has been filmed, because of the Covid-19 pandemic. It will air on Peacock TV, NBC's streaming service, on July 15. The rest should be shot as soon as sanitary measures allow.
