Recently, the reporter visited the China-Laos-Kunming (Ming) Wan (Xiang) Railway Research and Paving Base located in Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. The workers are assembling the rail joints in an orderly manner. The track laying of the Yuxi to Mohan section of the China-Laos-Kunwan Railway was fully launched on April 7. It is expected that the track laying and the Laos section will be connected in April 2021, laying the foundation for the opening and operation of the China-Laos railway at the end of 2021. After opening to traffic, it will become another international railway channel for entry and exit in Southwest China. By then, China's Kunming to Laos, Vientiane, is expected to achieve the evening.
