Amid the spread of the new coronavirus, clowns called "Hospital Crown" have begun activities to energize children who are sick and ill with caricatures.

However, since the end of February, we have withdrawn from our visits, considering the risk of transmission to children.

In order to cheer up the children in such a situation, the clowns connect with children who continue fighting illness in hospitals and homes with video conferencing apps to show performances and draw portraits and present data of paintings We started to work on it.

On the 27th, Ms. Miki Shigeki (8), a third grader in elementary school who is admitted to a hospital in Aichi prefecture to treat leukemia, enjoyed the performance with her mother Megumi.

Mother Megumi said, "I'm glad to draw a very cute caricature. I'm glad I couldn't meet my brother and it was a sad day."

“There are some things we can't do, but there are many things we can do. We would like to continue thinking about ways to keep our children happy,” said NPO President Kosuke Odate, who also performed as a clown.
