In the past two weeks, the Koh-Lanta program, broadcast on Friday evening on TF1, had been shortened, with an episode cut and presented in two stages, due to the coronavirus crisis. This will not be the case for the next two episodes, promises Denis Brogniart at the microphone of Europe 1.

The fans of Koh-Lanta can breathe. Guest of Europe 1 Tuesday, Denis Brogniart announced good news: "This Friday, there will be a full episode. Same thing the following Friday!"

For two weeks, only one episode cut in half was broadcast on Friday evening on TF1. Many fans were annoyed with this shortened program, with one of the episodes truncated without elimination. "We made this decision in order to delay the final as much as possible, so that it can take place as planned live", explains Denis Brogniart. The containment measures prevent for the moment to bring together the presenter and the candidates in the recording studio.

Other episodes cut before the final?

"We do not know exactly if we will cut other programs until the end ..." warns the host. The production intends to push back the date of the last episode as much as possible, so that it takes place in the most classic conditions possible. "We want to be able to bring together the 20 adventurers and celebrate this great season as it should be," he smiles.
