Ebeko Volcano on the North Kuril island of Paramushir threw a column of ash. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the Kamchatka volcanic eruption response group (KVERT).
It is noted that, according to volcanologists, "the height of the ash discharge amounted to 3.5 km above sea level."
The ash plume spread 10 km southeast of the volcano.
Earlier in Kamchatka, on the slope of the Klyuchevsky volcano, lava flows were recorded.
