Iconic singer of the 70s and animator, Dave told his confinement Tuesday on Europe 1, alongside his companion and his dog.

INTERVIEW

Invited on Europe 1 Tuesday, Dave, flagship singer of the 70s and host, described his daily life to Anne Roumanoff while he was confined in the Vaucluse with his companion and his dog. A confinement, which, for the singer, does not seem excessively restrictive. "We are all the time together so we are running in, it's not a real problem," he said of his companion, lyricist Patrick Loiseau, who wrote several of Dave's songs.

Confined "in the middle of nowhere", Dave takes the opportunity to do housework or cooking, he who describes himself as an "amateur cook for almost 60 years". According to him, vacuuming would even be a source of satisfaction. "We have a dog that loses its hair a lot. Vacuuming is therefore very rewarding as work because when we are finished there is no more hair," he explains. "Unfortunately, we have to start again then".

"I am [...] slightly self-absorbed"

With his companion, Dave considers himself "attentive" but admits having "full of faults". "I'm like most slightly self-absorbed artists," he says, before citing his "mocking side". "Those who do not like my mocking side, they have only to look elsewhere," he continues, convinced.
