Two police officers on motorbikes were injured after being struck by a motorist in Colombes, in the Hauts-de-Seine, learned 20 Minutes from the Paris Prefecture of Police. According to the same source, this is a voluntary act. The individual was arrested nearby by municipal police.
The two officials, an apartment at the head of public order and traffic in the prefecture, were involved in a control operation at the time of the accident. One of them was seriously injured, the other would be more slightly injured. According to corroborating sources, the suspect is a 29-year-old man, known to the police and the justice system for facts of common law. The reasons for his act are still unknown.
The investigation, opened for attempted homicide on a person holding public authority, was opened by the Nanterre prosecution and entrusted to the Hauts-de-Seine judicial police.
