Currently, three-quarters of businesses (industries, service providers and businesses) located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region resort to short-time working. This is what emerged from an investigation by the Regional Economic Observatory Covid-19 and whose results were released on Monday. And two thirds of them asked for a postponement of charges.

“There are thus fewer businesses closed [than in March] due to the cessation of activity of principals, a lack of supply or the inability to deliver / exercise its benefits ”, he notes. But he stresses that "the prospects for the second half of April remain very unfavorable", especially in commerce.

Another figure: 54% of companies find their cash flow situation difficult despite the mobilization of support systems. The Covid-19 Regional Economic Observatory was created by the CCIs of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in partnership with the Medef Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and the CPME Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
