The French government has increased in recent days consultations to refine its perilous deconfinement plan, in particular with local elected officials, and works Monday on the final arbitrations on the eve of its official presentation to the deputies.
The stakes are high since it involves determining the conditions under which the activity and daily life of the French will be able to restart from May 11, the date chosen by the executive for the progressive deconfinement of the country. After the presentation of the "national strategy for the deconfinement plan" by Prime Minister Edouard Philippe Tuesday afternoon in the National Assembly, a debate and a vote are planned.

The epidemic killed 14,202 people in hospitals, 152 more deaths in 24 hours, the lowest daily toll for five weeks, and 8,654 in retirement homes and other medico-social establishments (+90), said the Directorate General of Health in a press release, Sunday evening. 4,682 are in intensive care, 43 less than yesterday. The country has 28,217 hospitalizations, five fewer than yesterday.
