Thunderstorms, rain ... The Southwest experienced a very turbulent Monday afternoon. In this context, some residents of Tarn-et-Garonne were treated to an amazing spectacle. A snorkel formed in the sky of Finhan, Bessens or Monbéqui, villages located about twenty kilometers southwest of Montauban, very close to Haute-Garonne.

"A snorkel is the beginning of a tornado that does not touch the ground," explains the association Météo Pyrénées which, as usual, shared on its social networks the photos and videos of the phenomenon sent by witnesses.

A snorkel can then touch the ground and temporarily become a tornado. But this Monday at the end of the day in Tarn-et-Garonne, no significant damage had been noted.
