As of 16:30 that day, a total of 54 people were known to have been admitted to the hospital, 5 of them were declared dead, 2 had been breathing without rescue before arriving at the hospital, and 7 others were unconscious.

  The 1st to 9th floor of the incident building is KTV. According to the Taipei City Fire Bureau, at 10:57 am, a fire broke out on the fifth floor of this building, and some singing people were trapped for help. After the fire rescue, the fire was extinguished at 11:30. Firefighters evacuated a total of about 200 people, rescued 156 people, 5 of whom died and 2 were in danger.

  According to the Taipei City Fire Bureau, the fire point was on the 5th floor, and there was elevator refurbishment at the initial survey site, but all five fire-fighting equipment, such as smoke exhaust, water sprinkler, fire alarm, police alarm, and broadcasting system, were closed. Alarms, broadcasts, and sprinklers are not functioning and are serious human errors. The detailed cause of the fire will be investigated later.
