Of the 174 cases, the oldest is 70 years old and the youngest is 1 year old; light and normal types account for 93%, and heavy and critical types account for 7%.
This was disclosed by Chen Zhihai, a member of the city-level expert group for Beijing New Coronary Pneumonia Medical Treatment and the chief physician of the Infectious Diseases Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Beijing Ditan Hospital, on the 25th.
As overseas epidemics continue to spread, Beijing, as an important port of entry for China, imports of cases abroad have become a major risk point for epidemic prevention and control. Beijing imported foreign cases for the first time on February 29, and the number of cases increased rapidly in the first and middle of March, with 11 newly confirmed cases in half a day.
Starting from March 24th, affected by the adjustment of Beijing's international flight entry policy, the number of newly confirmed cases of overseas imports in Beijing has dropped significantly to single digits or even zero. As of 24:00 on April 24, there were "zero growth" of confirmed imported cases for 9 consecutive days. A total of 174 confirmed imported cases were reported, and 118 cases were discharged.
A total of 19 174 cases of foreign import cases, including 57 from the United Kingdom, 47 from Spain, 19 from the United States, 18 from Italy, 7 from France, 4 from Hungary and Serbia, 3 from Austria, Iran and Thailand, 3 from Brazil, 1 case each in Luxembourg, Netherlands, Pakistan, Norway, Greece, Mexico, Canada, Belgium. Among them, there are 123 cases from the United Kingdom, Spain and the United States, accounting for 71%.
Chen Zhihai said that of the 174 cases, 70 were male and 104 were female; the oldest is 70 years old and the youngest is 1 year old; there are 162 cases of light and normal types, accounting for 93%; 12 cases of heavy and critical types, accounting for 7 %.
He said that imported cases were collected and treated in Beijing Ditan Hospital and Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital. The 56 confirmed cases currently treated in the hospital are treated with a combination of Chinese and Western medicine, and the overall vital signs are stable. (Finish)
