On April 25, 1940, Soviet and Russian actor Mikhail Kononov was born. He performed more than 70 roles in film and television projects, including work in the films “Station for Two,” “Andrei Rublev,” “A Guest from the Future,” “The Head of Chukotka.” The hallmark of Kononov was the role in the four-part film by Alexei Korenev “Big Change”, where he played a young history teacher. However, the artist was skeptical about this and a number of other projects with his participation, and also claimed that he was not interested in mass success. People's Artist of Russia passed away in July 2007.
