Dozens of patients with coronavirus and health personnel from the temporary hospital of Ifema have commemorated Book Day this Thursday with the reading of fragments of Don Quixote .

With this initiative they have celebrated Book Day and the "special connection created between all of them", according to Emergencias Madrid in a video broadcast on their Twitter account.

From a lectern, dozens of patients have read fragments of Don Quixote selected by Mar Eguiluz, a Samur-Civil Protection volunteer.

The copy has been donated for this purpose by the Madrid Publishers Association.

In addition, the Madrina Foundation, in collaboration with the Association of Florists of Spain and Flor Motion, has donated hundreds of red roses and carnations for the sick and health of the Ifema hospital on the occasion of Book Day .
