According to Shiga Prefecture, two male employees in their thirties who belong to the construction department of Otsu City Hall were confirmed to be infected. The two had complained of olfactory abnormalities and fever in the 38-degree range from the 12th to the 15th of this month, so they are now hospitalized at a medical institution and are mildly ill.
From 11th to 17th of this month, the staff of the Otsu City Hall was infected one after another in the Urban Planning Department, which is one floor below the Construction Department, and the total number of infected staff was nine.
