The biggest names in world music meet on Saturday April 18 for a historic festival at the time of confinement. "One World: Together At Home" is a virtual world concert launched by Global Citizen and the World Health Organization (WHO), and of which the American singer Lady Gaga is at the initiative. The latter is committed alongside WHO to support healthcare workers, on the front line facing Covid-19.

"To all of you: caregivers, nurses, doctors, who sleep in your cars so as not to infect your families or your patients, who put yourself in danger to save the world, I salute you," said the singer in a video.

This planetary concert, which should last a little more than two hours, will be presented by the pundits of American late night shows: Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert. Among the invited artists: Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Lopez, Paul McCartney, Céline Dion, Elton John… Only internationally renowned stars on the program, from their place of confinement.

"This concert is not intended to raise money," says Lady Gaga. "We harvested it before so that on April 18, you can put away your wallet, your credit cards and everything else, so that you can rest in your chair to enjoy it. Each of you so deserves it."

The singer also announced that she had already raised $ 35 million to help WHO in its fight against Covid-19, a sum obtained in part thanks to donations from large companies.
