The French company Gruau has developed a partitioning system to allow people traveling in the same vehicle to respect the rules of social distancing, reports Capital . It is a flexible and transparent partition which is fixed on the roof pavilion and which descends to the floor. Each occupant therefore remains in a confined space.

The solution proposed by the bodybuilder located in Mayenne is "simple and quick" and would require "no special skills", according to the company. It "complements the barrier measures and is part of the means for a company to fulfill its legal obligation to take all necessary measures to ensure safety and protect the physical and mental health of workers," said Gruau in a statement relayed by the online media.

A solution for professionals

With this system called “Protect Man”, the company, which modifies vehicles for many professionals (refrigerated trucks, fire brigade ambulance, etc.), is aimed at companies and is based on the Labor Code. The system can be adapted on all commercial vehicles.

"We developed it especially for professionals who have no other choice but to drive in the same vehicle," said a spokesperson for the equipment manufacturer at Capital . The construction trades are particularly concerned. While the industry was at a standstill, some projects have resumed across the country, since the last speech on television by Emmanuel Macron.
