The other day, the U.S. Department of State issued an annual report on countries' compliance with arms control, non-proliferation and disarmament agreements, which accused China and Russia of conducting nuclear tests in 2019. The main argument against China, American diplomats put forward last year's suspicious activity of construction equipment at the Chinese nuclear testing ground. Well, Russia, of course, quietly conducts tests - otherwise where did the hypersonic weapons come from the Russians? Hiley Likeley Forever!

In general, every Soviet schoolchildren knows that it is impossible to conduct any nuclear tests invisibly for the seismological services of the world, which today have high-precision measuring equipment that records minimal fluctuations in the earth's crust. Where did all this State Department song come from that was sent to Congress? And there, congressmen are already loudly cursing the Russians and the Chinese, demanding the former to be held accountable for a hypersonic missile, and the latter to be fined one trillion for a coronavirus.

Back in the spring of last year, just at the moment when the offended Trump intended to withdraw from the INF Treaty, a quote was given in the American media from a speech by a certain General Robert Ashley at the Hudson Institute, where he directly stated that “Russia most likely does not adhere a moratorium on nuclear testing in a manner that meets the zero-power standard. ” Moreover, this “most likely” was not confirmed by any facts, of course, and no one asked for any factual evidence.

Then the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called this statement by the American general delusional speculation. A month later, US military intelligence issued a public (!) Communique, which stated that "Russia conducted a nuclear weapons test."

As a result, the United States has recently withdrawn from several arms limitation treaties. To date, only START-3 can be considered fully operational. The agreement, signed exactly ten years ago by Dmitry Medvedev and Barack Obama in Prague, replaced START-1 and provides for a reduction of nuclear warheads to 1,550 units, and intercontinental ballistic missiles, ballistic missiles of submarines and heavy bombers to 700 units with possible prolongation of action contract for another five years, until 2026.

That is, next year this agreement ends too, and, apparently, the US is not going to extend it.

The main argument for such behavior in the United States, without hiding, is called annoyance: not only do the Russians, contrary to the logic of development of a "gas station torn to shreds", develop fundamentally new weapons systems such as hypersonic missiles, they are still not going to reveal these technologies to the American military.

On the other hand, Moscow does not refuse dialogue on hypersonic weapons, but rightly requires mutual disclosure of developments on the American side, too. Moreover, the Russian side insists on a comprehensive discussion of the global missile defense, the deployment of weapons in space and other US military programs that will critically destabilize the strategic sphere. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said: “... In the framework of this conversation, we will be guided exclusively by the task of ensuring our national security. This is the alpha and omega of our approach to work in the field of arms control. ”

The restoration of military parity, obviously, critically does not suit the American side.

Today's pandemic agenda, as we see, has greatly tarnished the US global reputation. Apparently, they want to restore the image of the first country there by force.

It is interesting that if all countries of the world spent all their military budgets on the world health care system, how quickly would the world get rid of the danger of pandemics? Would they become a driver for the development of technologies and developments in the medical field? The questions, of course, are rhetorical.
