China News Service, April 17 (Xinhua) According to the Shanxi Provincial Health and Welfare Commission website, there were no new confirmed cases, suspected cases and asymptomatic infections in Shanxi Province from 0 to 24 April 16, 2020. A total of 133 confirmed cases were reported, and 133 were cured and discharged.
From 0-24 April 16th, 2020, Shanxi Province newly added 3 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 1 case of asymptomatic infections transferred to confirmed cases). A total of 64 confirmed cases imported from abroad were reported, 2 cases were cured and discharged, and 62 cases are currently in isolation in hospital (including 6 severe cases). They are all inbound international passengers who have stopped in Taiyuan. There is no trajectory of life and self-activity in Shanxi Province. There are 0 suspected cases.
From 0-24 April 16th, 2020, there were 2 new cases of asymptomatic infections in Shanxi Province (1 case imported from abroad and 1 case from Hubei). There are 3 cases of asymptomatic infections (2 imported cases and 1 local case).
A total of 5013 close contacts were tracked (including close contacts of imported cases), 5 people were released from medical observation on the same day, and 311 close contacts were still under medical observation.
