Since the start of containment to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, joggers seem to have taken large cities in France. With the arrival of the beautiful days, one would be tempted to believe that a good part of the population trains for the marathon.

The phenomenon has grown to such an extent, especially in Paris, that last week the mayor of the capital Anne Hidalgo and the prefect of police Didier Lallement announced the prohibition of any individual sporting activity in the city between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. The measure would avoid telescoping between people who go to work or do their shopping and those who put on their sneakers to sweat a good deal.
