Sagamihara City has announced that men in their 20s belonging to the Rugby Top League teams in the city have been newly infected with the new coronavirus.
According to Sagamihara, the newly-infected men belong to the rugby top league "Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Sagamihara Dynaboise" and live in Tokyo.
The man had a feeling of malaise on the 2nd of this month, and then went to a medical institution in the city to perform a test. The infection was confirmed on the 12th.
Symptoms are mild and they are recuperating at home.
The team knows that another male in their twenties was infected earlier this month, but so far no contact has been found between them and the route of transmission is unknown.
