Sudan: one year after the revolution, "the economic crisis is not resolved"

On April 11, 2019, after four months of popular protests across Sudan, the military ended 30 years of power for Omar al-Bashir. The former head of state has since been sentenced for the first time to corruption in December and imprisoned in Khartoum. Since August, a Sovereign Council made up of civilians and soldiers has overseen the delicate transition to a civil regime in the context of a terrible economic crisis. Researcher specialist in Sudan, Jérôme Tubiana is the guest of RFI.
