Ten years celebrated with the sound of the gendarmerie beacons. Tom has autism disorder and was to celebrate his 10th birthday in full confinement. To keep a good memory of his birthday party despite the current period, his parents wanted to mark the occasion and it was the gendarmes of Hallennes-les-Haubourdin, 10 km west of Lille, who responded.

"Solicited by subscribers, concerning Tom and the importance he dedicates to his birthday, we wanted to make sure that his 10 years remained a holiday anyway," they explain on their Facebook page. And supporting video, spotted by France 3 Hauts-de-France, three gendarmerie cars landed at Tom's roaring sirens to wish him a happy birthday.

The soldiers also gave the boy a gift. "Thank you to the colleagues who gave an hour of time at the end of their work day to make Tom's birthday an unforgettable moment," concludes the Facebook post of the gendarmerie of Hallennes-les-Haubourdin.
