African football lovers will have to wait to attend the semi-finals of the African club cups. Al Ahly-Wydad Casablanca and Zamalek-Raja Casablanca in the Champions League (C1), as well as Pyramids FC-Horoya AC and Hassania Agadir-Renaissance of Berkane in the Confederation Cup (C2), were postponed sine die because of the new coronavirus pandemic. The first legs were scheduled from May 1 to 3 and the return legs were scheduled for May 8 to 10, 2020.

" In light of the growing concerns around the evolving nature of Covid-19 and with the introduction of containment in most countries, the CAF Emergency Committee decided to postpone " these meetings of C1 and C2 , the African Football Confederation said in a statement on April 11, 2020.

This measure also concerns qualifications for the Women's World Cup for under-17s, whose games were scheduled from May 1 to 3 and from May 15 to 17.
