Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, announced that three people, including men and women in their 40s and 80s, have been newly infected with the new coronavirus.
According to Kawaguchi City, the infections were confirmed to be self-employed men in their 40s and women in their 80s, all living in the city, and male doctors in their 60s who live in Saitama City and work for medical institutions in the city. It is three people in total.
In both cases, the condition is stable.
Among them, a woman in her 80s entered a nursing home where the infection of the staff was confirmed on the 8th, and the other two have not known the route of transmission so far.
The city examines behavioral history and close contacts.
The number of people infected with the new coronavirus announced in Saitama Prefecture now totals 298.
