She added that most of the side effects were distributed between lopinavir, ritonavir, and hydroxychloroquine. The analysis found 53 side effects on cardiac function.
Among these effects, she explained, 43 are side effects on the heart muscle associated with hydroxychloroquine, whether they are taken alone or in combination with other drugs, especially with azithromycin.
It showed that the side effects on the heart included seven sudden deaths, three of which were saved through the use of electric shocks.
