A platform open seven days a week

It aims to "overcome situations of professional isolation" experienced by some practitioners, by offering "psychological assistance in the face of the current over-mobilization of doctors and caregivers," he continued in a press release.

This national platform will be operational 7 days a week, from 8 am to midnight. It will operate thanks to volunteer hospital psychologists, and may evolve to better integrate certain regional initiatives, according to the ministry.

Several initiatives have seen the light of day in recent weeks to support healthcare workers, severely tested by the Covid-19 epidemic, which has killed nearly 11,000 people in France. In Ile-de-France, the Assistance Publique - HĂ´pitaux de Paris (AP-HP) has thus set up a toll-free number, "Listening to caregivers Covid". In Occitania, a single listening number has also been created for carers and the general public.
