INTERVIEW

He composed the single "Pour les gens du Secours", caregivers and all those who struggle in the face of the coronavirus, all of whose profits are donated to the foundation of hospitals in France. Pascal Obispo was invited by Culture Médias on Europe 1 Thursday to present this title recorded with his friends Florent Pagny and Marc Lavoine, whose clip was previewed in The Voice .

"We wanted to be useful and do something," says Pascal Obispo. "We tried to produce this song confined to our house, with the musicians at home, the mixer in my studio, and by recording the voices on our Iphone". A first for the three artists. "We realize that these people (the caregivers), we did not consider them. We did not consider the hospitals, the equipment they needed. Tomorrow, that will change, that's for sure. The problem c 'is that we always wait until the last moment to act ", regrets the singer again.

"Highlight all these people"

"We are so in a special situation that we have a lot of emotions. The music comes naturally. I simply highlighted the words of Marc who touched me", details the singer who composed the music after reading the lyrics proposed by Marc Lavoine on March 22.

"The gendarmes, the Samu, the firefighters, women and cleaning men ... The will of this title is to put forward all these people and not to put us before us. It is a song which means thank you, we applaud you, if it can make your heart hot ... ", says Pascal Obispo again.
