In ordinary cases, only the oldest material is free to access from home because of copyright, and anyone who has wanted to read material from later than 1904 has had to visit a library that has joined the service.

But because of the prevalent spread of infection, it is difficult to get to a library. Therefore, the two parties have agreed on the agreement. For starters, there is free access to Swedish newspapers in April.

Swedish daily newspapers contain over 27 million digitized pages, from the 17th century to the beginning of 2020. The service includes the entire publication of Aftonbladet, Dagens industri, Dagens nyheter, Expressen and Svenska Dagbladet. In addition, there are an additional 900 newspaper titles that have been digitized to varying degrees.
