The New York Times said that Grammy-winning American singer John Bryan died yesterday, at the age of 73, from complications from Covid-19 disease, caused by the Corona virus.

The wife of the late singer, Fiona Whelan Bryan, announced his transfer to the hospital, on March 26, due to his symptoms of "Covid 19".

Brian had cancer twice and conquered it, the first time was in 1988, and cancer cells were removed from his neck, and in the second disease, one of his lungs struck in 2013.

Brian, whose career lasted 50 years, is considered one of the most prominent folk musicians, and he was sometimes called "Mark Twain" in relation to the deep song lyrics he was writing. Bob Dylan said that he is one of his favorite composers.

Brian, born on October 10, 1946, in Maywood, Illinois, began playing guitar as an amateur before his prominence in Chicago in the late 1960s.

He released his first album, which bore his name, in 1971, and won critical acclaim.

His song, "Your Flag Flag Decont wont u Anto Haven Anemore" against the Vietnam War, came back into the limelight in the early 2000s, with the start of American intervention in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Brian touched on many topics in his songs, but most of them dealt with loneliness, remorse, and his personal life.

In 2008, Rodger Waters of the British Pink Floyd band said, "His music is as eloquent as Neil Young and John Lennon."

Brian became popular in the 1970s and 1980s, and won his first Grammy Award in 1991.
