According to the "Announcement", since April 8, Chinese travelers who have purchased return air tickets from 26 countries including Italy, the United States, and Spain will need to fill in the epidemic prevention health information in advance. Passengers who fail to complete the report as required will not be able to board the plane; filling in false information will cause the itinerary to be blocked and will bear corresponding legal responsibilities.

Announcement on filling out the epidemic prevention health information for Chinese passengers before returning home by flight

In order to reduce the cross-border spread of the epidemic, Chinese passengers who have purchased return air tickets from the countries listed in the annex need to fill in the epidemic prevention health information in advance. Specific requirements are as follows:

1. From April 8, 2020, passengers who have purchased tickets need to go through the WeChat mini program of the international version of the Epidemic Health Code in advance to fill in personal information, health status, and recent travel information. Special circumstances can be reported by others.

2. The transition period is from April 8 to April 22, 2020. Chinese passengers taking a flight during the transition period should report on consecutive days starting from April 8. If you take a flight after the transition period, you should fill in the report day by day from the 14th day before boarding.

3. If you fail to fill in the above requirements, you will not be able to board the plane. Passengers filling in false information will cause the itinerary to be blocked and must bear corresponding legal responsibilities.
