According to Nagano Prefecture, the newly confirmed infection was a male in his 20s living in the jurisdiction of the Ina Public Health Center.
The man developed symptoms such as fever and cough on the 29th of last month, consulted a health center on the 31st, and went to a medical institution the next day.
After that, she was treated at home, but because her condition did not improve, she was hospitalized for a designated infectious disease medical institution on the 5th, and as a result of the examination, a positive result was confirmed on the 6th.
Currently, she has pneumonia, but it is not severe.
Men visited the Kanto region from 16 to 22 last month.
The prefecture does not disclose the municipalities, places, or purposes visited by men due to privacy or other reasons.
In the prefecture, on the 6th, a woman in her forties living in the jurisdiction of the Suwa Health Center was also confirmed to be infected, and the number of infected people in the prefecture has now reached 14.
Three of them have been discharged.
