Actress Lee Fierro , who played Mrs. Kintner in 'Shark' , has passed away due to complications caused by the coronavirus . The interpreter was 91 years old.

According to Martha's Vineyard Times, the interpreter died last Sunday, April 5 at a nursing home located in Ohio. Fierro is famous for her role in the Steven Spielberg film , released in 1975, in which she played the mother of the second victim. The artist repeated her role in 'Tiburon, la venganza', the fourth installment of the saga that premiered in 1987.

After filming 'Tiburon', Fierro helped direct theater workshops at the Island Theater. The American had a short filmography since in addition to the two installments of the 'Shark' franchise, she only participated in one more project. His third and last work was 'The Mistover Tale', a film released in 2016.

In 'Tiburon', Fierro played the role of Alex Kintner's mother (Jeffrey Voorhees) , who is killed by the shark. She was in charge of starring in one of the most remembered scenes, when she mourns the death of her son, she approaches Brody (Roy Scheider) and slaps him.

Fierro had theatrical training when he filmed the film, but had no experience in front of the camera. "Lee, you're not on Broadway, lower the tone. Lower the tone," says the artist Spielberg told her on the set.
