Austria has long been criticized for its late memory work, despite its participation in Nazi crimes during the Second World War. But today, the country is a model for the restitution of works of art looted by the Nazis.

Publicity

A unique law of its kind created in 1998 a commission charged with investigating within the public collections of the country, in order to restore the objects and works of art which were stolen by the Nazis. A colossal work which continues today.
