The Official Center for Issuing Fatwas stated that transmitting the Qur’an, dhikr and supplication through external loudspeakers for mosques under the current circumstances, with the intention of raising the scourge, is not desirable.
The Center stated, in an official fatwa issued by it, that supplication and remembrance in such circumstances are by supplication from each individual himself, or with his family, without exaggerating the raising of the voice, and this is indicated by the Qur’anic verses and the noble hadiths.
And the center said: «Also, members of society should not publish such appeals among themselves, because it may result in them being satisfied with what he listens to in remembrance, asking for forgiveness, and so on without doing it, and because of some legal precautions that fall into them: such as disturbing the neighbors of mosques; Among them, the sick and the little, and those who wish to rest, and some of them are busy with prayer, and raise the voice by reading, remembrance or supplication that prevents them from doing that. ”Stressing that this matter contradicts with what our true religion guided us. God Almighty said: (Call your Lord a supplication and a hidden one, for it is God The aggressors).
