By a combination of circumstances, Christophe Willem was forced to confine himself to his parents. If he continues to work on his next album, the conditions are not ideal, since the family piano "has never been retuned in 20 years", he said at the microphone of "L'Équipée sauvage" this Monday .

INTERVIEW

Confined, he composes his new album on a piano ... detuned! Like a majority of French people, Christophe Willem limits his outings and works during confinement, even if this is done in fairly new conditions. Guest of "The wild team" this Monday, the singer tells his daily life, which is done by force of things, at his parents.

A detuned piano ...

If he has posted some videos on the Internet to keep in touch with his audience, Christophe Willem devotes the majority of his time to "working on his next album": "It's in the composing phase, the texts are not at all written. " Until then, there is nothing abnormal for an artist. But "the tortoise", which is now nicknamed "the otter" because of "the weight" it has taken, is forced to work on its new album on an instrument ... far from ideal. "I play on the same piano I learned with," he said at the microphone of Europe 1. "I think it has never been re-tuned in 20 years!"

... and family confinement

Because Christophe Willem was forced to confine himself to his parents in "le 95", Val-d'Oise. "I had just sold my house, work had barely started in the new one when there was confinement," said the singer. "Suddenly, I have all my things that are in the garage of a house that I can not live in. It is a little lose in terms of timing, a little messed up plan." Doing good luck against good heart, the singer still decides to see the positive. "When you are lucky enough to be confined to the family, you find activities, it allows you to pass the time and not be alone in this rather complicated moment."
