" It's only a good bye ! " This is what singed, standing up, particularly touched MEPs on Wednesday January 29, 2020, during the withdrawal vote from the European Union in the European Parliament.

621 votes in favor, 49 against and 13 abstentions, in Brussels also the green light was given: Great Britain will leave the European Union tomorrow (January 31, 2020). This is a first in the history of Europe. A member state has never left this union, created a few years after the Second World War. On both sides of the Channel, this departure is synonymous with a certain number of uncertainties. And first of all on the common agricultural policy. It is one of the pillars of Europe. Once outside and from the end of this year 2020, Great Britain will no longer be able to claim this vast envelope of subsidies. From 2021 to 2027, there will be a transition during which the British government will introduce its new aid. But at what level will they rise? Our correspondent Marie Billon went to the very rural regions of southern England, Surrey and Kent to ask farmers about their expectations, but not only.

For three and a half years and the yes vote in the referendum, the saga of Brexit has also been marked by the question of the Irish border. Because the island is divided in two: Northern Ireland belongs to Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland to Europe. The border between the two therefore also becomes the only land demarcation between the Union and the United Kingdom. A border that promises to become a headache if customs or immigration controls are put in place. But 2 years ago, a surfer had fun giving a voice to this border. The @Irish Border account on twitter and its 110,000 followers follows Brexit news with stripping humor. Our correspondent in Ireland, Émeline Vin , met the author of the account.

Direction Romania now, for another story of life change. This time, there is no question of leaving Europe, but rather of leaving your profession! It is the story of a young Romanian who chose to leave his profession. After 10 years working in finance and real estate, Bogdan Nicolescu chose to change everything. In his thirties, he converted to farming. His concept: produce and deliver vegetables grown in the old way to Bucharesters. This is the report by Benjamin Ribout.

A program produced thanks to co-financing from the European Union.

Brexit obliges, Vincent Théval takes us to Great Britain for his musical chronicle on the English singer Rachel Dadd and his last fairly political album.
