Gifu 11 new infections confirmed Nightclub employees and 0-year-old girls also 23:14 on April 5

On May 5 in Gifu Prefecture, 11 new coronavirus infections were confirmed in four cities, such as Gifu and Ogaki, and 58 in Gifu Prefecture.

Of these, eight in Gifu City are employees of nightclubs with outbreaks and families of customers who have been confirmed infected.

According to Gifu City, infections were confirmed in 7 men and women in their 20s and 30s and 8 girls in total, including a 0-year-old girl.

Seven of these men and women are employees of Gifu City's nightclub Sharm, where outbreaks among employees and customers have occurred.

The 0-year-old girl is the daughter of a male doctor in her thirties who works at a hospital attached to Gifu University School of Medicine, who has been confirmed to be infected by shop customers. All eight, including girls, have no symptoms or are mild.

Only 18 people have been confirmed infected by the nightclub, and Gifu City inspects the remaining four employees who have not yet been inspected and informs the city that they have visited the store. It means hearing about the health status of about 30 people who enter, and checking about three affiliated stores in the city.

Also, according to Gifu Prefecture, three cases of infection were confirmed, including elementary school girls under the age of 10 living in Ogaki City, men in their 60s living in Mizuho City, and women in their 50s living in Kakamigahara City. The symptoms of all three are mild.

In Gifu Prefecture, 58 new coronavirus infections were confirmed.
